Volleyball Recap: Locke Comes Up Short at Home Against Animo Watts

Locke unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Animo Watts Warriors on Thursday. The Saints were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-15, 25-15.

The win made it two in a row for Animo Watts and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Locke will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Crenshaw at 4:30 p.m. on March 24th. This will be Locke's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Animo Watts, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Magnolia Science Academy Carson on the 17th.
