Basketball Recap: Del Oro Takes a Loss

Del Oro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They were beaten by the Folsom Bulldogs 86-37. The match marked the Golden Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Several Golden Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Luke Galer, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Jayden Tcruz, who went 5 for 9 en route to 12 points.

Del Oro's loss dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Folsom, they pushed their record up to 21-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Del Oro has already played their next game, a 56-38 victory against Davis Sr. on the 7th. As for Folsom, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 74-32 win against Whitney on the 7th.
