Grant had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.6 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They walked away with a 9-6 victory over the Chippewa Hills Warriors. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-2 on Tuesday.

Grant got a big performance out of Blake Rider, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. Those three hits gave Rider a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Gavin Kiliszewski, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Grant kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.6 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 9.6.

Grant's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Chippewa Hills, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-4 record this season.

Grant will be playing in front of their home fans against White Cloud at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chippewa Hills, they will venture away from home to take on Gladwin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
