Harleton came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Overton Mustangs 8-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 16-2 on Tuesday.

Harleton's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Overton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Harleton is set to take on their familiar foe Ore City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Overton will face off against rival Waskom at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
