Soccer Game Preview: Colusa vs. Maxwell

Colusa is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They came out on top against Hamilton by a score of 3-1. The win continues a trend for the RedHawks in their matchups with the Braves: they've now won four in a row.

Cesar Cruz and Eric Gonzales scored all three of Colusa's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.

Meanwhile, Maxwell had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 goals) and they went ahead and made it seven last Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Bobcats with a sharp 6-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won ten games by three goals or more so far this season.

Colusa's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Maxwell, their victory bumped their record up to 11-1.
