Soccer Recap: Hunter Comes Up Short

Hunter fought the good fight in their overtime contest against West Jordan on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 3-2. Hunter were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced West Jordan earlier this season, when they won 4-0.

Alan Garcia and Samuel Rodas scored both of Hunter's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Hunter's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for West Jordan, they moved to 4-13 with that win, which also ended their eight-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hunter will venture away from home to take on Roy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Jordan, they will head out to face off against Salem Hills at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
