Basketball Recap: Emerald Vikings vs. Fountain Inn Fury
Emerald was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 53-35 bruising from the Fountain Inn Fury. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fury this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-28 back in January.

Despite the defeat, Emerald saw an underclassman step up: freshman Jurnee Williams almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine boards. Williams has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Ketorey Brown was another key player, putting up seven points.
Zipora Sullivan went supernova for Fountain Inn, going 8 for 17 to rack up 21 points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
