Softball Game Preview: Bremen Lions vs. Knox Redskins

Bremen is 7-2 against Knox since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Lions will host the Redskins at 6:00 p.m. Knox took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Bremen, who comes in off a win.

Bremen picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 13-12 win over Concord.

Bremen got a big performance out of Delainey Neher, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most runs Neher has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Madi Milleman, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Bremen kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Knox unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of Pioneer by a score of 6-5.

Karleigh Friedrich was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double.

Bremen's victory bumped their record up to 9-15. As for Knox, they now have a losing record of 12-13.
