Basketball Recap: Liberty Find Success

There's no place like home for Liberty, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They pulled ahead with a 29-28 photo finish over the Illini West Chargers on Friday. The 29-point effort marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Liberty's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Illini West, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty will face off against Calhoun at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Illini West, they will square off against Astoria/VIT at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
