Softball Game Preview: Curtis Vikings vs. Bonney Lake Panthers

The Curtis Vikings are taking a road trip to face off against the Bonney Lake Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Curtis hasn't scored more than two runs for three games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Curtis lost 14-2 to Sumner on Friday.

Curtis saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Melanie Spivey, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Bonney Lake unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 12-7 to Yelm.

Kendell Thomas was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Bonney Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Curtis, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
