Basketball Recap: Picayune Finds Home Court Redemption Against Hancock

There's no place like home for Picayune, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They secured a 52-48 W over the Hancock Hawks on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Maroon Tide: when they faced off against the Hawks back in December of 2024, they had to take a 44-35 loss.

Picayune's win bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Hancock, they dropped their record down to 10-13 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Picayune will welcome Long Beach at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hancock has already played their next match (against Pascagoula), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
