Pierce and Boone Central are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2020, but not for long. The Bluejays will be playing at home against the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Friday, Pierce took their game with ease, bagging a 65-29 win over Osceola. With the Bluejays ahead 36-8 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Pierce can attribute much of their success to Keaton Frazier, who posted ten points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Brock Collison, who had ten points.

Pierce was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Osceola only posted four.

Meanwhile, Boone Central didn't have quite enough to beat Central City on Thursday and fell 69-66. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (64), the Cardinals still had to take the loss.

Pierce has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 63.5 points this season. As for Boone Central, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
