Baseball Recap: Chilton Takes a Loss

Chilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 25th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 22-0 to the Bartlett Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pirates of the 15-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Chilton's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Bartlett, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-6.

Looking ahead, Chilton will face off against Thorndale at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Chilton's pitchers better be ready for this one: Thorndale has averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season. As for Bartlett, they will head out on the road to challenge Holland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bartlett is facing Holland at the right time seeing as Holland is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
