Baseball Recap: Arroyo's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Arroyo can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Flintridge Prep Wolves.

Richard Inostroz was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2024.

In other batting news, Jacob Antuna was excellent, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Dillon Seguin was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Arroyo kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

The win got Arroyo back to even at 3-3. As for Flintridge Prep, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arroyo will venture away from home to square off against Glendale at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Arroyo is facing Glendale at the right time seeing as Glendale is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Flintridge Prep, they will head out on the road to take on Beckman at 3:15 p.m. on Monday.
