Baseball Recap: Brattleboro Takes a Loss

Brattleboro has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.83 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They lost 10-1 to the Keene Blackbirds. The loss continues a trend for the Bears in their meetings with the Blackbirds: they've now lost seven in a row.

Brattleboro saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayke Glidden, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Brattleboro's record now sits at 3-3. As for Keene, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-4 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brattleboro will face off against Burr & Burton at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Keene, they will square off against Alvirne at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Blackbirds are facing the Broncos at the right time seeing as the Broncos are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
