Volleyball Recap: Mater Academy East Las Vegas Comes Up Short

Mater Academy East Las Vegas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Boulder City Eagles. The Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Mater Academy East Las Vegas' loss dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Boulder City, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-17 record this season.

Mater Academy East Las Vegas will face off against Mojave at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Boulder City, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas on the 11th.
