Basketball Game Preview: Eagle Point Eagles vs. Crater Comets

Eagle Point is 1-9 against Crater since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Eagles will venture away from home to face off against the Comets at 7:00 p.m. Eagle Point has given up an average of 64.8 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Eagle Point came up short against Springfield and fell 61-54.

Meanwhile, Crater suffered their biggest defeat since January 17, 2025 on Friday. They lost 68-45 to Thurston. The Comets haven't had much luck with the Colts recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Eagle Point's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Crater, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-3.

Eagle Point couldn't quite get it done against Crater when the teams last played back in February of 2025 as they fell 72-59. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
