Basketball Recap: Bunker Victorious

Bunker won the last time they faced Bismarck and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bunker Eagles came out on top against the Bismarck Indians by a score of 64-53.

Bismarck's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kinsey Hubbs, who went 5 for 11 en route to 15 points. Those 15 points gave Hubbs a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Alysssa Brake, who posted six points and eight rebounds.

Bunker is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for Bismarck, they moved to 10-8 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Bunker has already played their next contest (against Newburg), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bismarck will take on Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
