Basketball Game Preview: Berea Pirates vs. Bryan Station Defenders

The Berea Pirates will challenge the Bryan Station Defenders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Saturday, Berea had to suffer through a 74-32 loss at the hands of Russell County. The match marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Bryan Station unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 72-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of Frederick Douglass. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Sunday (62), the Defenders still had to take the loss.

Bryan Station's loss dropped their record down to 11-2. As for Berea, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Berea took a serious blow against Bryan Station when the teams last played back in December of 2017, falling 76-38. Can Berea avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
