Lumberton is 8-2 against West Orange-Stark since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Raiders will look to defend their home field against the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Lumberton's favor as the team sits on eight straight wins at home while West Orange-Stark has been banged up by 14 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

Lumberton will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Little Cypress-Mauriceville, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Raiders walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Bears on Friday.

Aiden Marshall spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Lumberton's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Pullen, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. What's more, Pullen posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in March.

Meanwhile, West Orange-Stark came up short against Vidor on Friday, falling 10-1.

Lumberton's victory bumped their record up to 16-7-1. As for West Orange-Stark, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-14-1.

Lumberton beat West Orange-Stark 6-1 in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Will the Raiders repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
