Spring Mills faced Bridgeport in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Cardinals walked away with a 2-0 win over the Indians. The victory was nothing new for the Cardinals as they're now sitting on five straight.

Their offense was headlined by Sasha Conner and Ariyanna Bolden, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Gabrielle Malatt and her 11 assists.

Spring Mills' win bumped their record up to 15-8-1. As for Bridgeport, their loss dropped their record down to 24-11-5.

Spring Mills wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Philip Barbour on the 11th. As for Bridgeport, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Robert C. Byrd on the 18th.
