Softball Recap: Post Falls Takes a Loss

Post Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 20-9 to the Lake City Timberwolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Timberwolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-4 on Saturday.

Kulani Peahu-Michael was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Summer Dan, who scored three runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Post Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Lake City, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4-1 record this season.

While Post Falls had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
