Taholah is 10-0 against Lake Quinault since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Taholah Chitwhins will head out to take on the Lake Quinault Elks at 5:30 p.m. Taholah knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Lake Quinault likes a good challenge.

Taholah will head out to face Lake Quinault after giving up their first home loss of the season on Tuesday. Taholah took a 68-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Naselle.

Meanwhile, Lake Quinault was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 64-30 loss at the hands of Ocosta. While losing is never fun, the Elks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 375th, while the Wildcats are ranked 178th).

Taholah's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-7. As for Lake Quinault, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.

Everything came up roses for Taholah against Lake Quinault when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 75-12 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Taholah since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
