Basketball Game Preview: Travis Rebels vs. Eastside Early College Panthers

Travis and Eastside Early College are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2015, but not for long. The Travis Rebels will take on the Eastside Early College Panthers at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Travis is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They were the clear victor by a 69-47 margin over Smithville on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rebels.

Meanwhile, Eastside Early College hadn't done well against Hyde Park recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Eastside Early College walked away with a 56-49 victory over Hyde Park.

Eastside Early College has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Travis, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.
