Softball Recap: Collins Takes a Loss

Collins fell victim to Woodford County and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 15-0 to the Yellowjackets. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Titans' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Collins saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooke Peterman, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Collins' defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Woodford County, they now have a winning record of 9-8-1.

Collins has already played their next game (against West Jessamine), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Woodford County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 6-0 loss against Scott County on the 18th.
