Baseball Recap: St. Paul's Comes Up Short

After flying high against Glenelg Country last Wednesday, St. Paul came back down to earth. St. Paul's came up short against the McDonogh Eagles on Friday, falling 12-1. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

St. Paul's dropped their record down to 2-4 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for McDonogh, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Paul's will host St. John's Catholic Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for McDonogh, they will welcome Boys Latin at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
