Basketball Recap: Holy Family Tigers vs. Centaurus Warriors

The Holy Family Tigers can now show off 13 landslide victories after their most recent match on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 67-31 victory over Centaurus on the road. With Holy Family ahead 41-12 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Holy Family's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jennifer Altshuler, who scored 15 points. Alexcia Oaxaca was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Despite the loss, Centaurus still got an impressive performance from Cameron Kidd, who scored ten points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kidd has scored all season.

The win was the fifth in a row for Holy Family, bringing their record for this year to 17-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.4 points per game. As for Centaurus, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

Holy Family is on the road again on Wednesday and plays the Trojans at 5:30 p.m. on February 7th. Longmont is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Centaurus, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Ravens at 7:00 p.m.
