Volleyball Game Preview: Ludlow Lions vs. Agawam Brownies + How To Watch

The Ludlow Lions are taking a road trip to face off against the Agawam Brownies at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Ludlow lost 3-0 to East Longmeadow on Tuesday. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Ludlow was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-20, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Agawam came up short against Wahconah Regional on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Brownies haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Wahconah Regional scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-17, 25-19.

Agawam's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Ludlow, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.

Ludlow skirted past Agawam 3-2 when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Do the Lions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Brownies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
