Football Recap: Praise Academy Falls to Covington Academy in First Game of Season

Praise Academy kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 40-24 bruising from the Covington Academy Bulldogs. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.

Looking ahead, Praise Academy will face off against Unity Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Covington Academy, they will challenge Holy Ground Baptist Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
