Volleyball Recap: Alaina Kopf Key Part of Team Effort in Trojans Win

Tri County won the last time they faced H&H and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Trojans walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bearcats.

Tri County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alaina Kopf, who had nine digs and three aces. That's the most aces Kopf has posted over her last seven contests. Another player making a difference was Macey Gronemeyer, who had six aces and three digs.

They weren't the only good servers: Tri County was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Tri County's record now sits at 17-12. As for H&H, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-23.

Tri County has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Fillmore Central on the 16th. As for H&H, they will host David City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Scouts will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Bearcats surely won't give up without a fight.
