After having lost a blowout in their previous game against East Linn Christian Academy, Toledo was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Monroe Dragons by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Boomers: when they faced off against the Dragons back in September, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

Toledo is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season. As for Monroe, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-19.

Toledo and Monroe could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Oregon Rankings. The Boomers (ranked 177th) will meet Crosshill Christian (ranked tenth) at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Monroe will square off against East Linn Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank disadvantage (213 vs. 87).
