Soccer Game Preview: South Sevier vs. American Leadership Academy

The South Sevier Rams will square off against the American Leadership Academy Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. South Sevier is coming into the game hot, having won their last nine games.

South Sevier gave up the first goal on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against San Juan by a score of 3-1. Taylor James Garrett had the honor of scoring the game-winner for South Sevier.

Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and American Leadership Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let Telos get on the board and left with a 14-0 win on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for American Leadership Academy as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

South Sevier's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those four matches. As for American Leadership Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.
