Volleyball Recap: St. Andrew's Comes Up Short

St. Andrew was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of The Habersham School Patriots. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, St. Andrew's sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-23, 16-25, 15-8.

St. Andrew's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for The Habersham School, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

Coming up, St. Andrew's will host Windsor Forest at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for The Habersham School, they will square off against New Hampstead at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
