Four ranked teams fall Friday, Springfield and Toledo Central Catholic record big wins.

Four of Ohio’s Top 25 teams fell Friday, including two in match-ups pitting ranked squads.
No. 18 Springfield shut out No. 12 Springboro in a meeting of Greater Western Ohio Conference powers, while No. 21 Toledo Central Catholic downed Toledo Whitmer 42-14 in Three Rivers Conference action.
Upsets included Delaware Hayes beating No. 23 Dublin Jerome 28-7 and Covington (Ky.) Catholic stunning No. 9 Cincinnati La Salle 27-7.
Saturday, No. 2 St. Ignatius (Cleveland) travels to No. 4 St. Edward (Lakewood). No. 3 Archbishop Hoban is also in action.
