Softball Recap: Easton Area Takes a Loss

Easton Area lost against Northampton back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Rovers fell just short of the Konkrete Kids by a score of 3-2. The Rovers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Easton Area saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Faith Zimmerman, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Easton Area's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Northampton, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Easton Area will take on Freedom at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northampton, they will challenge Hazleton Area at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Konkrete Kids' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season.
