Basketball Recap: Wilcox-Hildreth Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wilcox-Hildreth can now relate to. They fell to the Archangels Catholic Defenders 32-27. The Falcons have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Despite the loss, Wilcox-Hildreth still got an impressive performance from Madison Bunger, who posted ten points in addition to seven rebounds and five blocks. Bunger has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played.

Wilcox-Hildreth's loss dropped their record down to 19-10. As for Archangels Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.
