Baseball Recap: Los Alamitos Takes a Loss

Los Alamitos was the 7-4 winner over Fountain Valley when they last played one another on Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Griffins fell 4-1 to the Barons on Friday.

Los Alamitos saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was WYATT JOYCE, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Los Alamitos has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-9-2 record this season. As for Fountain Valley, their record is now 15-11.

Los Alamitos does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fountain Valley, they will square off against Huntington Beach at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Barons 3.5, the Oilers 2.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
