Big Valley Christian had won 13 straight at home dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they bumped up to 24-9 to make it 14. They blew past the Calaveras Red Hawks 3-0. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the Red Hawks on October 2nd, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Big Valley Christian was led to victory by Caitlin Echegoyen and Annika Rumble. Echegoyen had 13 digs and two aces, while Rumble had five digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave Echegoyen a new career-high in assists (eight).

As for Calaveras, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 14-7. While getting shut out isn't ideal, they haven't been shut out since back in September.

Despite the loss, Calaveras still got an impressive performance from Isabelle Saiers, who had 17 digs and two assists. Saiers has been hot, having posted 13 or more digs the last six times she's played.

Big Valley Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Calaveras, they will welcome Placer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
