Markesan is a perfect 10-0 against Montello since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Markesan Hornets are taking a road trip to square off against the Montello Hilltoppers at 7:15 p.m. Markesan is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

Markesan proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by 21) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Ripon 39-36.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Montello). They took their game on Thursday with ease, bagging a 64-30 win over Rio.

Markesan's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Montello, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-8 and their overall record up to 2-15.

Markesan took their victory against Montello in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 55-33. The rematch might be a little tougher for Markesan since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
