South Shore Vo-Tech and Blue Hills RVT are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Vikings will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Warriors at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

South Shore Vo-Tech is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They lost 10-4 to West Bridgewater on Wednesday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Meanwhile, Blue Hills RVT was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Fontbonne Academy, falling 13-5.

Riley McKnight made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole three bases while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Sylvia Cull, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

South Shore Vo-Tech beat Blue Hills RVT 6-2 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
