The Chattahoochee County Panthers will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Greenville Patriots at 6:00 p.m. Chattahoochee County will be strutting in after a win while Greenville will be coming in after a loss.
Chattahoochee County had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Macon County 46-44.
Chattahoochee County can attribute much of their success to Makyiah Clark , who scored 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordyn Johnson , who scored 10 points.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Greenville, who are still winless after their fifth game. They took a serious blow against Taylor County on Tuesday, falling 75-45. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Greenville in their matchups with Taylor County: they've now lost five in a row.
Chattahoochee County's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Greenville, they bumped their record down to 0-5 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Chattahoochee County strolled past Greenville when the teams last played back in January by a score of 64-50. Will Chattahoochee County repeat their success, or does Greenville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
