DeSales came tearing into Saturday's contest with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Sunnyside Christian Knights get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

DeSales pushed their record up to 20-4 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.6 runs over those games. As for Sunnyside Christian, they moved to 15-9 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
