Recap: Indian Land Warriors vs. Lancaster Bruins

The Indian Land Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight defeat. They took a 50-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lancaster. Indian Land has struggled against Lancaster recently, as their contest on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Indian Land lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Skylar Young, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaitlyn Knoll, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds.

Eliza Baskins continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Lancaster, scoring 27 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. That makes it four consecutive games in which Baskins has scored at least a third of Lancaster's points. Another player making a difference was Zatyra Walls, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.

Indian Land's defeat dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Lancaster, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-14.

Indian Land does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lancaster, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Greer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Lancaster focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Friday.
