Meanwhile, South Jefferson fought the good fight in their overtime game against the Raiders on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 55-53.
Watertown's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for South Jefferson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.
