Baseball Game Preview: Sandwich Indians vs. Richmond-Burton Rockets

For the second straight game, Sandwich will face off against Richmond-Burton. The Indians will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rockets at 4:03 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Sandwich has three straight wins, Richmond-Burton has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Sandwich came out on top against Richmond-Burton on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run third inning. The Indians took their matchup against the Rockets 8-4.

Braden Behringer was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. He has become a key player for Sandwich: the team is 5-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 3-8 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeffery Ashley, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and three runs.

Sandwich's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Richmond-Burton, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.
