Canfield beats East for their sixth straight win

Recap: Canfield Cardinals vs. East Dragons
The Canfield Cardinals entered their tilt with the East Dragons with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Canfield came out on top against East by a score of 20-7 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Canfield also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2018.
East's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Darshaun Sales, who threw for 143 yards and a touchdown.
Canfield's victory was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 7-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 33.0 points per game. As for East, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-3.
Canfield will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Ursuline at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Ursuline knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 11 games -- so hopefully Canfield likes a good challenge. East does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
