Volleyball Game Preview: Nevada Union Miners vs. Del Campo Cougars

The Nevada Union Miners will face off against the Del Campo Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Nevada Union will be strutting in after a victory while Del Campo will be coming in after a loss.

Last Thursday, Nevada Union earned a 3-1 win over River Valley. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Miners.

Nevada Union got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 18-25, 25-22, 30-28.

Meanwhile, Del Campo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Placer.

While Del Campo ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-17, 25-19.

Del Campo's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Nevada Union, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-6.
