Basketball Game Preview: Hyndman Charter School Hornets vs. Hancock Panthers

Hyndman Charter School is 2-8 against Hancock since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Both will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m.

Hyndman Charter School is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 16th straight game dating back to last season on Wednesday. They took a blow against Turkeyfoot Valley Area, falling 60-9. The Hornets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-4.

Meanwhile, Hancock came into Friday's match having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Bishop Walsh on Friday, sneaking past 60-57.

Hancock found their leader in sophomore Tucker Welch, who posted 21 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Welch a new career-high in points. Ethan Hill was another key player, putting up 13 points and three steals.

Hyndman Charter School's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Hancock, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Hyndman Charter School took a serious blow against Hancock in their previous matchup back in January, falling 78-49. Can Hyndman Charter School avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
