Baseball Recap: Warren County Comes Up Short

Warren County fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against James Wood on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Colonels by a score of 2-1. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Warren County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayden Christopher, who went 3-for-5 with one run. Francis Shaffer was another, going 2-for-5 with one triple, one double, and one RBI.

Warren County now has a losing record of 5-6. As for James Wood, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.
