Archangels Catholic has gone 9-1 against Aquinas recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Archangels Catholic Defenders will welcome the Aquinas Monarchs at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Archangels Catholic has six straight wins, Aquinas has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Tuesday, Archangels Catholic strolled past Central Valley with points to spare, taking the game 51-32. Given the Defenders' advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 111th, while the Cougars are ranked 246th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Aquinas suffered their biggest defeat since December 21, 2023 on Saturday. They had to suffer through a 81-36 loss at the hands of Lincoln Christian. The Monarchs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-14.

Archangels Catholic's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points over those games. As for Aquinas, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.

Archangels Catholic didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Aquinas in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 49-43 win.
